Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center seeks an experienced administrator to plan and direct the operation of a clinical area. Under executive direction, the role requires independent judgment, leadership of staff, and oversight of daily operations and budget.

The position collaborates with medicine, hospital partners, and clinic stakeholders to optimize patient access, staffing, quality, and revenue cycle. Seven years of management experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Seven years of progressively responsible management experience is required.
  • Education beyond the bachelor's level may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily administrative operations of clinical practice, including establishing work priorities; resolves problems related to day-to-day operations of the unit.
  • Participates with the IM leadership team and works with School of Medicine, UMC and other clinic stakeholders.
  • Leads hiring, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining staff as appropriate.
  • Oversees clinic operations including patient access, registration, billing, and staffing.
