Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Managing Director for the Internal Medicine Clinic to plan and direct overall operations and provide leadership for staff. Reporting to executive direction, you will oversee personnel, budget, and strategic initiatives while collaborating with TTUHSC leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Seven years of progressively responsible management experience is required.
• Education beyond the bachelor’s level may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative operations of the clinical practice and set work priorities.
• Lead the IM leadership team and coordinate with TTUHSC School of Medicine, UMC and clinic stakeholders.
• Hire, coach, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed to maintain performance.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, oversee revenue cycle activities, and ensure cost-efficiency.
