Job summary

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking an Administrative Manager to support evolving clinical enterprise needs and department operations. The role collaborates with UW Health leadership on operations, reporting, and analytics to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include strategic project execution, development of data infrastructure for workforce evaluation, and coordination across divisions to optimize clinical operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in operational roles
• Direct experience in a clinical operations environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Project management certification or demonstrated project leadership
• Preferred: 1 year in an administrative leadership role
• Experience in UW Health Qlik reporting (Qlik View/Sense)

Responsibilities

• May exercise supervisory authority over at least 2.0 FTE employees
• Assist in development and monitoring of unit budget and expenditures
• Identify workflow needs; develop strategic/operational solutions
• Contribute to funding proposals from outside sponsors
• Lead development of systems and dashboards to support productivity
• Schedule logistics and secure resources for program activities
• Prepare periodic reports and financial statements for leadership
• Plan and evaluate strategies for program enhancement
