Job summary

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking an Administrative Manager to support clinical operations and enterprise analytics across divisions. You will work with UW Health leadership on budgeting, reporting, and strategic projects to improve efficiency and workforce evaluation.

Candidates should have 2+ years of management in operational/clinical settings, strong Excel and reporting skills, and experience leading projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in operational roles.
• Direct experience in a clinical operations environment.
• Proficiency/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Project management certification and/or demonstrated experience leading projects.

Responsibilities

• May exercise supervisory authority over at least 2.0 FTE employees.
• Assist in development and monitoring of the unit budget and expenditures.
• Identify workflow needs and implement strategic/operational solutions.
• Contribute to proposals for funding from outside sponsors.
• Lead development of systems, dashboards to support productivity.
• Schedule logistics and resources for activities across units.
• Prepare reports and financial statements for leadership or external agencies.
