Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in clinical/medical office settings preferred.
• Ability to supervise multiple staff and coordinate workflows.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff in clinical offices to maintain workflow, coverage and schedules.
• Arranges for availability of medical records needed for services.
• Resolves staffing issues, conducts meetings and documents outcomes.
• Interviews and hires applicants; supervises training and salary recommendations.
• Maintains office procedure manuals and current job descriptions.
• Ensures backup transcription services for academic and research needs.
• Acts as liaison between providers, patients and clerical staff.
