Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks aClinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe, compassionate nursing care and to assist with personnel, budget, and strategic planning on the unit. This role emphasizes leadership in performance improvement and collaboration with the Clinical Manager to meet patient care standards.

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure; BSN preferred. Minimum two years of clinical nursing with leadership experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BSN strongly preferred; commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of BSN.
• Minimum of two years in clinical nursing practice; one year in leadership/charge role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports administrative leadership with PI initiatives and staff development.
• Collaborates with Clinical Manager to ensure patient satisfaction targets and unit operations efficiency.
• Ensures regulatory standards compliance and quality of care across the unit.
• Oversees staffing, orientation, and performance evaluations; participates in councils and special projects.
• Promotes a safe, therapeutic environment and effective communication among staff, physicians, and patients.
• Provides feedback, coaching, and accountability for assigned staff.
