Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Nurse Educator to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff at the North Shore Medical Center. This role aims to enhance clinical skills, promote best practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing with RN licensure, 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, and perioperative nursing experience. Masters preferred; onsite work at 55 Highland Avenue with 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required and a master's degree is preferred
• No, experience cannot substitute for the degree
• RN license in the state is required
• Clinical nursing experience 3–5 years is required, educator experience 2–3 years preferred
• Perioperative nursing experience is required (preferably OR)
• Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional design, and adult learning principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate teams and adapt to changing healthcare practices and regulations

Responsibilities

• Design and develop educational programs and curricula for nursing staff
• Conduct sessions, workshops, and in-service trainings
• Facilitate orientation programs for new nursing hires
• Organize continuing education opportunities for staff
• Evaluate clinical skills and create development plans
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
