Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support leadership of the community's clinical operations. The ADON oversees nursing and caregiving staff, ensures high-quality resident care, and collaborates with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

The ADON helps drive training, compliance, and continuous quality improvement, while promoting safety, wellbeing, and dignity for residents within the Cedarhurst mission and values.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and current state license for LPN or RN.
• 3+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• CPR and BLS certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Aufgaben

• Assist Director of Nursing with defining and maintaining the standards of nursing practice within the community and assumes responsibilities of the Director of Nursing in their absence.
• Assist with oversight of provision of medications, treatments, and nursing services per care plans and orders.
• Develop and maintain in-service education programs for nursing staff.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care.
• Participate in management team planning and policy formation for nursing services.
• Assess residents for appropriate levels of care and coordinate staff workload.
