Galen College of Nursing in Florida seeks a Clinical Nursing Faculty member to educate and mentor the next generation of nurses. The role involves implementing diverse teaching strategies, developing PSLO-aligned curriculum, and evaluating student learning across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.

The successful candidate must hold an MSN, be a licensed RN in the applicable state, and have at least two years of clinical nursing experience.

Formación

• Active RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN degree required; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Create an environment that facilitates learning and desired outcomes.
• Apply diverse teaching strategies aligned to learner needs and content.
• Help students develop as nurses and embody professional values.
• Assess and evaluate learning across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Analyze assessment data to inform continuous course improvement.
• Implement PSLO-aligned curriculum and organize instruction.
• Design program assessments for quality improvement.
• Participate in professional development to enhance the faculty role.
• Maintain knowledge to support contemporary nursing practice.
• Uphold the College’s mission: excellence, compassion, accountability, inclusivity.
• Fulfill other responsibilities per state board of nursing.
