Job summary

Colorado Mesa University seeks two qualified applicants for Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing. The appointments involve teaching across nursing programs, supervising students in clinical settings, and contributing to curriculum development to improve courses and experiences.

Salary ranges are $60,000-$70,000 for master's prepared and $70,000-$80,000 for doctoral prepared, commensurate with education and experience; strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time professional clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in critical care settings preferred (ICU, ED, Telemetry).
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Teach across nursing programs based on departmental needs.
• Teach theory, laboratory, and/or clinical components in nursing education programs.
• Teach and evaluate assigned courses.
• Supervise student performance in clinical labs and settings.
• Promote relationships with service area hospitals, clinics, and agencies.
• Participate in program, department, and university assessment and accreditation activities.
• Attend program and department faculty meetings and advise students.
