Job summary

Concorde Career Colleges in Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse instructor with a Master of Science in Nursing to teach in classrooms and labs. The instructor will develop curriculum, assess student progress, and serve as a positive role model while promoting student satisfaction and success.

Requirements include an unrestricted Colorado RN license, 4+ years of clinical nursing experience, and a Doctorate preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree in Nursing; Doctorate Degree preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license to practice in Colorado.
• 4+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• Design and deliver engaging educational content.
• Ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning styles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for instruction.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner.
• Foster and maintain an orderly, controlled, and safe learning environment.
• Maintain and prepare training aids, tools, and equipment.
• Keep curriculum current with industry standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
• Build relationships with students and stakeholders.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Deliver engaging lectures and labs.
