Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) on hire and maintained, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative responsibility for department service functions.
• Collaborate with unit Director/Manager and assume scope when needed.
• Develop and implement departmental plans including performance improvement.
• Oversee orientation and training of personnel within the department.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Ensure quality of staff and functions during shifts and direct patient care when needed.
