Job summary

Arbor Post Acute is seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN supervisor to lead daily nursing operations at our Chico, CA facility. You will direct nursing assistants, ensure policy compliance, and participate in quality assurance and care planning processes.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in California, strong leadership, and the ability to supervise a diverse nursing staff while coordinating with physicians and other care team members to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess an active, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to plan, organize, and supervise nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the facility's written policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Make daily rounds to ensure nursing staff perform their duties to acceptable standards and report issues.
• Coordinate with physicians and other care team members to ensure residents receive appropriate care.
