Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse with current CA license.
• Must have leadership and administrative experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual patient assessment and prioritizes the data collected to decide medical problem/condition and documents in a chart to report to residents’ physicians.
• Obtains and records the residents’ vital signs and weight.
• Performs specific treatments as ordered by the Physician or Nurse Practitioner.
• Performs proper treatments as ordered by the Physician or Nurse Practitioner.
• Documents services performed and resident assessment findings.
• Observe residents and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to Wellness Director and Executive Director.
• Administers specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, and notes time and amount on community electronic MAR.
• Reports resident condition to appropriate personnel during each shift while maintaining resident confidentiality.
