Job summary

Bedford Care Centers seeks a Nurse Supervisor for its Long-Term Care facility in Mississippi. The role directs Nurses and Nurse Aides, ensures quality resident care, and requires coordinating rounds with physicians, documenting patient status, and assisting with transportation arrangements.

The ideal candidate holds an active Mississippi RN license, will obtain TB Certification within the first year, and has LTC supervision experience. Drug screening and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in Mississippi.
• Must obtain TB Certification within first year of accepting position.
• Prefer experience in Long-Term Care Nursing Supervision.
• Must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to providing compassionate care to our elders.
• Supervises other Nurses and Nurse Aides to coordinate and ensure quality Resident care.
• Makes rounds with Physicians and conducts resident rounds daily.
• Records and monitors Residents’ conditions and communicates with Physicians; assists with arranging Residents’ transportation to outside appointments.
• Communicates with Staff Development Nurse and assists with orientation when requested.
