Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced nurse to provide advanced direct patient care in a Critical Care Unit setting. The role includes serving as an expert consultant for staff in program development, clinical practice, and professional development, and managing clinical research to support evidence-based care.

The position requires a nursing diploma and Master's degree, with mandatory credentials including RN and CNS, and a BLS certification to be obtained

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• Clinical Nurse Specialist credential obtained prior to hire date.
• Registered Nurse credential obtained prior to hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required and Master's degree required.
