Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care within our hospital units. The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with patients and families.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, SBAR handoffs, discharge planning, and ongoing patient/family education. The role emphasizes evidence‑based practice, safety, and professional growth; BSN within 5 years is encouraged for staff

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Ohio RN license.
• BSN within 5 years of hire for nurses hired after Jan 2010; AD/Diploma nurses acceptable.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact; ACLS within 6 months for applicable units.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic patient assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Utilize SBAR for handoffs and communicate with the health care team.
• Develop and revise multidisciplinary care plans with patient and family involvement.
• Provide patient and family education; ensure safe care and compliance with policies.
