Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with a patient- and family-centered approach.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, coordinating discharges, educating patients and families, and maintaining precise documentation in the EMR. BLS is required; ACLS within six months for certain units, and Ohio licensure must be current.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN required or higher; MSN/DNP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments across physical, psychosocial, spiritual and education needs.
• Develop and revise multidisciplinary care plans with SBAR communication.
• Coordinate discharge planning and appropriate referrals.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education aligned with the care plan.
• Respond to emergencies with decisive, structured actions; maintain safety.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Support professional growth and participate in unit-based quality initiatives.
