Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within the Ohio framework. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, partnering with patients and families as part of the care team.

Responsibilities include holistic assessments, developing care plans with measurable goals, SBAR communications, discharge planning, and continuous education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS required within six months for step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN must be obtained within five years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessment of patient needs and safety risks.
• Develop and revise multidisciplinary plan of care with measurable goals.
• Communicate the plan using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Initiate discharge planning and coordinate referrals.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education and support.
• Respond to emergencies with prompt, precise actions.
• Document nursing care accurately in the EMR.
