Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for step-down and ICU units.
• MSN or DNP not required but supersede BSN requirement.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates holistic assessment of patient physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Plans, coordinates, and revises multidisciplinary care with patient and family.
• Communicates plan using SBAR and handoff processes with all team members.
• Initiates discharge planning upon admission and makes referrals as needed.
• Ensures safety and infection prevention as part of nursing care.
