Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Clinical Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of safe, person-centered care within its skilled nursing neighborhood. This role partners with the clinical leadership team to mentor staff and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include managing documentation (MDS, care plans), adjusting staffing to acuity, and leading infection control efforts and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ RN experience on a nursing unit.
• Current RN license for the state of operation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web applications.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating, implementing, and overseeing the clinical care of guests/residents in skilled nursing/long-term care neighborhoods
• Maintaining clinical practice and processes in accordance with Erickson Senior Living policies and nursing standards
• Ownership of documentation including MDS, care plans, incident reporting, and charting requirements
• Ensuring appropriate staff is on duty based on guest/resident acuity and providing recommendations
• Monitoring infection control for staff and residents and developing a process for effective monitoring (antibiotic stewardship)
• Analyzing, developing, and implementing Quality Improvement measures for clinical indicators/benchmarking
• Collaborating to ensure all required training and competency reviews are completed
• Participating in clinical leadership meetings such as Wound Rounds and PI/RM/S Committee
• Providing leadership during annual survey/complaint investigations and regulatory audits
