Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Clinical Manager to join the clinical leadership team. The role oversees assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of person-centered care in assigned neighborhoods, while mentoring staff to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as RN on a nursing unit (skilled nursing/long-term care/assisted living or hospital)
• Current CPR
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet and web applications
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and oversee clinical care of guests/residents in skilled nursing/long-term care neighborhoods
• Maintain clinical practices and nursing standards per policies and procedures
• Own documentation processes (MDS, care plans, incident reporting, charting)
• Ensure appropriate staff coverage based on acuity and needs of the neighborhood
• Monitor infection control and collaborate on antibiotic stewardship
• Lead quality improvement efforts for clinical indicators and benchmarking
• Work with Staff Development Coordinator on required training and competency reviews
• Participate in clinical leadership meetings (Wound Rounds, Operations, Utilization Review, PI/RM/S)
• Provide leadership during annual surveys and regulatory audits/reviews
