Job summary

Swedish Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for the ICU. This on-site role is full-time with a 40-hour week and 24/7 accountability for nursing practice, development, and performance improvement.

The position requires IL licensure, a Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred), BLS/CPR certification, and at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience, with prior management experience preferred. Competitive on-site benefits are included.

Hourly Pay Range:

$50.64 - $78.49 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Clinical Nurse Manager - ICU


• Location: Evanston, IL - Evanston Hospital


• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hour per week


• Hours: Monday-Friday on site, 24/7 responsibility

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required


• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing, Business or a Healthcare related discipline preferred


• Certification: BLS/CPR certification required, Ortho Certification a plus


• Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in relevant clinical setting required. Previous management experience preferred

• Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for the professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, and fiscal management for an assigned clinical unit
