Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time (2-10 hr) day shift with call requirements. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and participate in the care planning process for diverse patient populations.

Requirements include an IL RN license, BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS certification. Travel to Evanston, Glenbrook, and Skokie hospitals may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing is required.
• IL RN License is required.
• CPR/BLS from American Heart Association required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care for patients on a specific unit.
• Apply the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Involve patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in practice and guide unlicensed staff.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse




• Location: Highland Park (ability to travel to Evanston, Glenbrook and Skokie Hospitals)




• Part Time




• Hours: 2 - 10/hr Day shifts Mon - Fri including call requirements.

What you will do:

Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Utilizes the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Includes patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate. Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
