Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Typically requires 5 years of nursing experience including one year of supervisory experience in managing staff and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages all resources to provide optimal nursing care including staff, supplies, and systems.
• Maintains productive staffing patterns and labor management standards.
• Evaluates quality of patient care using standards, outcomes, and indicators.
• Develops service strategies and monitors service levels to improve patient satisfaction.
• Promotes collaboration and effective relationships among patients, families, staff, and other departments.
• Advances evidence-based nursing and aligns practice with organizational goals.
• Participates in governance councils and supports changes in nursing practice.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.
• Plans staffing to meet productivity benchmarks and patient loyalty targets.
• Assists in development of new services and revenue opportunities.
• Manages human resources activities including hiring, promotions, and performance evaluations.
• Develops and manages operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures.
