Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the nursing leadership team. The role directs planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care programs, leads daily clinical operations, and oversees staff scheduling and performance.

You will manage budgets and FTE oversight, with opportunities for tuition support and professional growth within UW Health. Candidates should have a BSN (required) and a master’s in a related field is preferred; 3 years of clinical experience

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3 years clinical experience required.
• Progressive leadership experience required.
• MS in Nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care programs.
• Lead the day-to-day clinical operations and coordination of patient care services.
• Direct and evaluate the department workforce, including staff scheduling and performance.
• Prepare and administer revenue budget, operating budget, and oversight for FTEs.
