Job summary

Ambulatory Medical Practices MSO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to support the Director of Clinical Services.

The role leads nursing and clinical support staff across multiple locations, ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. This full-time position requires strong leadership, staffing, and workflow optimization, with hands-on mentoring and collaboration with physicians in a busy outpatient, multi-specialty setting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of managing and training clinical staff across multiple locations.
  • Experience in adult primary care/outpatient multi-specialty settings.
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
  • Current RN license; BLS/ACLS; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing and clinical staff.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning across locations.
  • Oversee payroll processing and timecard approvals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize workflows to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialty providers in a multi-specialty outpatient setting.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation oversight and metrics tracking.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager to support our Director of Clinical Services. The Clinical Nurse Manager will lead clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient, multi-specialty environment. This role requires a strong clinical foundation combined with exceptional leadership, operational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while developing and supporting clinical teams.

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supervising nursing and clinical support staff across multiple locations, and ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. This leader will serve as a key liaison between providers, staff, and administration to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing and clinical support staff
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning across multiple locations
  • Oversee payroll processing and timecard approvals to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of clinical staff
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and optimize clinical workflows to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction
  • Support and drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialty providers in a multi-specialty outpatient setting
  • Maintain clinical competencies and ensure staff maintain required certifications
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation oversight, reporting, workflow optimization, and performance metrics tracking
Required Experience/Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of managing and training clinical staff, including oversight of teams across multiple locations
  • Strong background working with adult patients in a primary care and multi-specialty outpatient setting
  • Excellent verbal, written and conflict resolution skills
  • Medical knowledge as per assigned specialties
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Outpatient specialty/multi-specialty practice experience
  • Cardiology and/or medical-surgical clinical experience
Education/License/Certification
  • Current RN License from an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred
Work Location

On-site, Travel to other practice locations as needed.
