Job summary

Duke Primary Care South Durham is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and support patients across ages with a focus on high-quality, personalized care. The clinic operates Monday–Friday with standard daytime hours in a welcoming environment.

With a team of 20 providers and a patient volume of 175–300 daily, you’ll contribute to comprehensive pediatric, adult wellness, and women's health services while upholding Duke's commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Current NC RN licensure with BLS.
• All RNs without a BSN must enroll in BSN within 2 years and complete within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide and document professional nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Assist other nurses and act as team leader for a unit as assigned.
• Monitor environment of care and ensure equipment/material resources are adequate.
• Participate in professional development and seek educational opportunities.
• Act as a preceptor and support staff development and learners.
• Identify opportunities for clinical or operational performance improvement.
