Job summary

Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse to join Duke Primary Care South Durham. The clinic serves 175 to 300 patients daily with a 20-provider team, offering pediatric, adult, and women's health services in a welcoming environment.

Located in Durham, NC, the RN will provide professional nursing care per plans of care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher required or equivalent.
• To enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete within five years if no BSN.
• RN licensure in NC with BLS.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other care providers.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse as assigned.
• Maintain environment of care and equipment resources.
• Support professional development and learning.
