Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support patient- and family-centered care. The nurse will use the nursing process to develop individualized care plans and collaborate with patients and designated care partners to respect cultural beliefs and values.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and cultural awareness.
• Effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and staff.
• RN licensure in NJ and current to practice nursing.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with coworkers, patients, their family/designated care partner(s), and other staff per Jefferson Health values.
• Develops nursing plans of care with the patient and care partner(s) to address individualized needs and priorities.
• Uses the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality care and to monitor outcomes.
• Participates in hospital- and practice setting committees, including safety and quality improvement, and supports ongoing professional growth.
