Jefferson Health is seeking a professional nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop and implement individualized care plans in alignment with patient values and cultural beliefs.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
• Previous RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrates evidence-based practice with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences for optimal care.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Minimizes risk by following established nursing practices and protocols and using information systems effectively.
• Uses data to monitor care outcomes and participates in quality improvement.
• Recognizes and respects patient/family preferences and cultural beliefs to provide compassionate, coordinated care.
• Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development and participates in safety and quality committees.
