Job summary

Advocate Health in High Point, NC is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to provide clinical and administrative leadership for a defined patient care area. The role covers House Operations, the Observation Unit and related units, with a focus on patient-centered care aligned with the Theory of Human Caring.

Qualifications include BSN or BS; RN licensure in NC and BLS, plus two years of nursing experience. MSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with BSN or BS in related field; MSN preferred.
• Two years' nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina; BLS required.
• Nationally recognized certification in Nursing Specialty within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in collaboration with the Nurse Manager to staff to ensure short and long-term goals are met by developing and monitoring standards of performance.
• Collaborates with colleagues and communicates information effectively; serves as a resource to staff and other departments.
• Coordinates nursing care with other healthcare disciplines and ensures quality and safety in the care delivery environment.
• Promotes a culture of safety and maintains patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality.
