Job summary

34021 High Point Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to provide clinical and administrative leadership for a defined patient care area. You will support a patient-centered environment through Human Caring theory, nursing process, staff development, and collaborative teamwork in areas including House Operations and Observation Unit.

Requires BSN or related field, NC RN license, BLS, and a nursing specialty certification within one year; MSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing – BSN or BS in related field (MSN preferred).
• Two years’ experience in nursing required.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Nationally recognized certification in Nursing Specialty required within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership with the Nurse Manager to staff and meet short/long-term goals.
• Collaborates and communicates effectively; serves as a resource to staff and other departments.
• Coordinates nursing care across disciplines and ensures quality and appropriate health care delivery.
