LiveWell Homecare Agency in Missouri is seeking a dedicated pediatric RN to provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, performing assessments, planning, implementation and ongoing evaluation of nursing care for children.

You will educate families, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while delivering compassionate, family-centered care across day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree with a valid RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 2+ years of pediatric experience.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with day/night, weekend and holiday shifts.

Job description

This position provides direct patient care within a pediatric setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care according to established standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management and medication administration, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with the interprofessional team, and assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting their values and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree with an RN license.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment and adapt to shift rotations, including day/night, weekends, and holidays.
