Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the General Medicine unit. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and educating patients and families on illness management, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Nursing Diploma or ADN; Bachelor’s preferred
• No prior experience required, but 2+ years of nursing experience is preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills

Job description

This position involves providing direct patient care within the General Medicine unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential. The role requires assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
• No prior experience required, but 2+ years of nursing experience is preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism

Additional Requirements:

• Preferred: BSN degree and Med Surg experience
