Job summary

Role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Collaborates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to deliver personalized care that respects cultural diversity.
• Coordinates and documents care, supports performance improvement initiatives, and promotes evidence-based research.
• Acts as a preceptor and contributes to developing protocols to improve patient outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate or Diploma Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Active RN licensure (single or multi-state)
• Current BLS certification
• PALS or equivalent pediatric advanced life support certification is also required
