Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator – Department Based in Evanston, IL. This full-time role combines 0.5 FTE nurse education with 0.5 FTE RN staffing duties on 4 South Searle, Post-Surgical/Step-Down.

The RN pay range for the RN portion is $36.00-$55.80 per hour, with overall responsibilities spanning education and patient care. The educator role focuses on staff development, coaching, and bedside education, reporting to the Director of Nursing Professional Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or Diploma in Nursing with BSN in health-related field.
• Current Professional Nursing Licensure in Illinois; specialty certification or within 1 year of role.
• At least five years of clinical experience in a medical center or hospital setting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills; ability to engage diverse healthcare audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the role.
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor for staff; support just-in-time learning.
• Coordinate educational activities and on-unit in-services.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Manager to assess staff education needs.
