Job summary

UCHealth seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Highlands Ranch Hospital to support the Surgical Specialties Unit. The role is onsite only, part-time, 40 hours per pay period, with day shifts.

You will develop and deliver orientation and ongoing education for clinical staff, collaborating with managers and team members to identify learning needs. The position requires RN licensure, BLS, and multiple specialty certifications (ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NRP, CPI, NIH Stroke Scale).

Qualifications

• RN required.
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NRP, CPI, NIH Stroke Scale certifications are preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curricula related to clinical competencies and policies.
• Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in program development and professional development.
• Develops, coordinates, and delivers new clinical staff orientation and education activities.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
