Job summary

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital seeks a registered nurse for perioperative/PACU care. This onsite role offers day and evening rotations and a full-time schedule with 80 hours per pay period.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team, uphold safety and quality, and participate in education and precepting of new staff. BLS/ACLS required; RN license active in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in Perioperative, PACU or Operating Room settings.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver high quality patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Model precepting for nurses new to UCHealth and healthcare.
• Maintain a fast-paced, evidence-based clinical environment ensuring safety and quality.
