Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to support five Free-Standing Emergency Departments in the Metro Denver region. This onsite, part-time role (20 hours/week) involves coordinating orientation and ongoing education for clinical staff across sites, with travel between Eds required.

The role requires RN licensure, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS certifications, plus 2 years of nursing experience; Charge Nurse preferred. Excellent collaboration and teaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC and BLS.
• 2 years of nursing experience; Charge Nurse preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides orientation, continuing education, and professional development for clinical staff.
• Collaborates with managers to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Designs and evaluates curricula and educational activities for clinical staff and departments.
• Serves as consultant/mentor for program development and clinical practice.
• Coordinates new staff orientation and education activities.
