Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and clinical instruction for orientation and staff.
• Coordinate planning and presentation of education for all nursing staff.
• Coordinate staff participation in required education and competency events.
• Organize skills fairs and simulation exercises to enhance staff knowledge.
• Maintain education files and document staff competencies.
• Identify quality improvement opportunities through audits and observations.
• Assess educational needs and implement remediation with staff.
• Contribute to unit goals and staff evaluations related to clinical competence.
• Deliver in-services on evidence-based practices, equipment, and supplies.
