Cape Fear Valley Health System seeks a per diem Clinical Educator to facilitate educational development for nursing staff at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, North Carolina. The role focuses on orientation, in-service and continuing education across unit staff including agency personnel.

The ideal candidate holds NC RN licensure (BSN required, MSN preferred) with 3 years of specialty nursing experience and strong teaching, organizational and leadership skills for ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in North Carolina required.
• BSN or health-related bachelor's degree required; MSN preferred.
• 3 years of specialty nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide classroom and clinical instruction for orientation of all unit nursing staff and agency staff.
• Coordinate planning and presentation of formal/informal education for nursing staff (including agency staff).
• Coordinate staff participation in required education and annual competencies.
• Organize skills fairs for annual competencies and simulation exercises.
• Maintain education files and document staff competencies and competency checkoffs.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement of patient care through audits and observations.
