Job summary

Logan Regional Medical Center in southern West Virginia seeks a Clinical Education Coordinator to support the hospital's clinical staff through development, education, and facilitation. You will work with unit leaders to assess needs, plan, implement, and evaluate continuing education initiatives.

You will coordinate rotations, mandatory training, and education calendars, while managing education projects and training programs.

Qualifications

• Experience applying adult learning principles to professional growth.
• Ability to design and implement instructional modules and use varied educational methods.
• Thorough knowledge of staff development, training needs, and program evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff and leadership.
• Willingness to travel ~10% and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor clinical education activities with hospital leaders.
• Assess affiliations, rotations, and mandatory training for learners.
• Organize clinical rotation calendars with affiliated schools.
• Create and conduct training programs as needed.
• Maintain education calendar for compliance, safety, and training priorities.
• Manage education projects including regulatory training and program implementation.
• Organize annual educational competencies and update curriculum as needed.
• Oversee educational software and liaison with HR for new employee orientation.
• Plan and evaluate orientation programs for clinical staff.
• Develop classes based on departmental needs and improve training practices.
