Job summary

Logan Health seeks an experienced RN to join its ambulatory care network as an Ambulatory Clinical Educator. You will lead onboarding, assess competency needs, and develop education across clinics, partnering with leaders to promote evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.

The role emphasizes building relationships, turning education into practical improvements, and traveling to clinics in the Flathead Valley.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multistate compact RN license with authorization to practice in Montana.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and serve as a catalyst for change.
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support consistent clinical onboarding and orientation across ambulatory clinics.
• Assess learning and competency needs and develop engaging education and training.
• Support clinical staff in building and maintaining skills and competency.
• Partner with clinic leaders and frontline teams to promote evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.
• Support quality, safety, DNV, DEA, and other organizational initiatives.
• Help strengthen preceptor and competency programs.
• Evaluate education and competency outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as a clinical resource and catalyst for positive change across the ambulatory setting.
• Work with a variety of clinic teams, leaders, providers, and interdisciplinary partners throughout the region.
• Travel to Logan Health ambulatory clinics, with the majority expected to be within the Flathead Valley.
