Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to assure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations across shifts. You will lead nursing care, direct staffing decisions, and partner with the management team to uphold policies that drive superb patient outcomes.

The CNC will drive admission/discharge flow, assess care quality, and support staff development and engagement through evidence-based nursing practice and targeted rounds.

Qualifications

• RN license required for this role.
• Current ACLS/BLS/PALS/STABLE/TNCC certifications within stated timeframes.
• No travel required and 1 year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and high quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of care quality with the management team.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when needed.
• Operates nursing strategies to improve engagement through rounds and other initiatives.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor per patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
