Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high quality, patient-centered care and lead unit operations during the shift. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, and models our commitment to an unparalleled patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions during shift.
• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care with adherence to policies/procedures.
• Collaborate with management to foster teamwork and better outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and supply management.
