Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN—Registered Nurse license or eligibility.
• Degree requirements: Associate Degree, RN Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care in the unit with management.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operates nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds, to boost engagement.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selection, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and helps manage supplies and equipment.
