Hourly Wage Estimate: $40.15 – $58.58 per hour

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and demonstrates a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a team environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Support the facility’s engagement initiatives by operationalizing nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and implement courses of action such as training, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2 years of progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience.
• Preferably 2 years of clinical RN experience.
• Valid licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification through AHA or ARC.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field; graduate of a certified nursing school.
