HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Clin Nurse Coord Inpatient Surgical Nights to lead nursing care on the unit during night shifts. You will coordinate admissions, discharges, and staff scheduling while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

You will collaborate with the management team to monitor care quality, participate in staff development, and implement nursing strategies that improve engagement and service delivery.

Qualificações

• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) within 90 days.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current license.
• RN Diploma required; no travel.
• 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create an environment of teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies (employee rounding, hourly rounds) to boost engagement.
• Recommends and implements actions on interviewing, staff training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor per patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
