Endocrine News is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital. Hourly Pay Range

$43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, Nights and Evening Rotational with rotating weekends
• Hours: 40

What you will need

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred

What you will do

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
• Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
• Would assume direct patient care if necessary
• Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
• Guide and direct a team of care‑givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
• Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
• Takes lead on clinical performance management
